Synopsis:

In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees . . . .
Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy.

Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.

As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?

Unearthly is a moving tale of love and fate, and the struggle between following the rules and following your heart.

My rating: ★★★★★

Holy crap!! This book was AMAZING!!! It was just... wow lol. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! :D

And now every time I see the Victoria’s Secret angel models, it will make me think of Clara, lmao.

So Clara’s mom is half angel half human, meaning that Clara is quarter angel. And all angels have a purpose on earth, and they come in the form of visions. Clara’s is always that of a burning forest with a guy (Christian), who she may or may not have to save.

Clara’s purpose leads them to a small town in Wyoming, where she finally meets Christian, the guy from her visions. Little did she know that she would also meet Tucker on this journey (LOVE him by the way :D).

Tucker is just sooo funny and sweet and a total gentleman... my kind of guy ;) lol

Anyway, Clara is torn between Christian and strictly doing business (as in her ‘purpose’ kind of business) or Tucker, who she may or may not be developing feelings for. Well one thing’s for sure, she is going to have to choose one or the other.

Now, just because I totally adore Tucker doesn’t mean I don’t like Christian. ‘Cause truthfully, I like him too ;) I just happen to like Tucker a little more, hehe.

I sooo cannot wait to read the next book! I have a lot of favorite books, but I have favorites within those favorites (as crazy as that may sound)... and this one, yeah, made the cut :)
Love Tucker :)

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a comment! :)
