Top 10 Favorite Books of 2015!

So, I feel that I am a bit late with this post, seeing as how it is already mid-January, haha. But here are my Top 10 Favorite Books of 2015 and My Year in Books!

This Goodreads feature is SO cool! :D

First let's take a look at how many books/pages I read in 2015:

76 is a pretty decent number, I think. However, I hope to surpass that by a lot this year! *crosses fingers*

Here are a couple more stats:

4 stars, not bad. That tells me I read a lot of great books, yay!

I am not surprised that one of Rick Riordan's books is "Most Popular." The Blood of Olympus was amazing, as is pretty much everything else he writes :) And wow, more people really need to read the Mellow Summers series, it is so much fun! Especially if you love a good murder mystery with a splash of ghosties thrown in ;)

Again, I am not surprised that one of Rick Riordan's books is one of the longest books I've read. I mean, have you seen those monstrosities?! You could knock someone out if you really wanted to, LOL! And my shortest book wasn't really a book (shhhhh!) It was more of a scene taken from Adventures in Funeral Crashing and told in someone else's POV... it was awesome, nonetheless!!

And now, here are my Top 10 Favorite Books of 2015 That Were Really Hard to Narrow Down to Just 10!

The Blood of Olympus (The Heroes of Olympus, #5) The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #1) Powerless (The Hero Agenda, #1) Forget Me

Rick Riordan books, no surprise there ;) Powerless was SO AWESOME! One of the best superhero books I have ever read! I need the sequel now!!! Forget Me was such an amazing mystery... Kim is really good at writing that sort of stuff and this is why I need more Kim Harrington books!

No Angel The Third Twin The Crawling Darkness (Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper #3)

No Angel was so fun and hilarious! I enjoyed it more than I was expecting to. Plus, male POV! :D Love! The Third Twin was another great, twisty mystery! It saddened me to learn of C.J. Omololu's recent passing :( May she RIP. The Crawling Darkness is, so far, my favorite Ellie Jordan novel! It was so creepy and so well written... it was everything I expected from a horror novel!

Paxton Private Investigations (Paxton Private Investigations, #1) Cold Burn of Magic (Black Blade #1) Adventures in Funeral Crashing (Funeral Crashing, #1)

Two of my favorite authors ever: Juli Alexander and Jennifer Estep. I will pretty much read anything they write knowing I will immediately fall in love with it! Adventures in Funeral Crashing may at first sound really odd, but trust me when I tell you that this series is amazing, a ton of fun, and Kait and Ethan are just SO cute together! Just read it, okay?

And a couple of Honorable Mentions that are actually short stories:

The Crown of Ptolemy Camp Cauldron Valentine's Day Sucks

And that is all! So many great books! Here is to another year filled with many more amazing, fun books! :)

  2. I really want to read The Third Twin; it looks fantastic. It's really sad about the author though.
